Resisting Genderphobia in Hungary

<p>In this article, we connect illiberal populism in Hungary with the instrumentalizing of genderphobia through state policies starting from 2010. This became especially salient during COVID-19 pandemic when a contentious emergency laws enabled government’s ruling by decree. Analyzing relevant pieces legislation and policy documents, show how fundamental feature an expanding far-right agenda that has been playing out practice since System National Cooperation was established Genderphobia is aversion to disrupting dominant gender sexual hierarchies, addressing critically interrogating gendered differences as social construct. both ideology about fearfulness well action fear-mongering for political effect.
